During the NanoValbruna festival, students from the editorial staff of the Messaggero Veneto School interviewed Dr. Rinaldo Comino, Presidency of Mountain Forests WG – Italy (EGTC Euroregio Without Borders), who spoke at NanoValbruna’s ‘Round Table’.

We learned that forests are essential for reducing CO2 emissions, so it is necessary to preserve and treat them properly. We asked Dr. Comino:

What would a sustainable economy mean in the region of  Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy?

The sustainable economy is the future of work. It can be developed in an area like this, from tourism, building houses, and environments using the wood that surrounds our territory. This paired with good management of the woods and an enhancement of all architectural and natural heritage that surrounds us.
