impactmania announced a partnership with Newton Paiva University in Brazil, October 2017. Here is the first video story about a startup that matters created in partnership with Newton Paiva.

Similar to impactmania’s video story about a social enterprise, Jaipur Rugs, in India that went on to be featured at the United Nations (2017), here we feature the first commercial urban farm in Latin America! A social enterprise working with UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Newton Paiva students and faculty selected to feature BeGreen, a for-profit and for-purpose enterprise, that produces 40.000 head of lettuces and other vegetables in a shopping mall, increasing productivity by 20 times, reducing water consumption by 90 percent compared to conventional agriculture, and eliminating waste in the supply chain.
