When you wake up on a Monday morning and someone bought your book, 5 years after it was published. Thank you to the person who just bought —whoever you are! 🌟

Paksy Plackis-Cheng interviewed over 300 from 30 countries, including award-winning scientists, serial entrepreneurs, Grammy award winners, and even two baronesses. (One of them even showed up at the book launch in her Rolls-Royce w/ driver!) Over 150 of these conversations I held (edited from hundred plus recordings of 1 hour long, and most meetings were in-person!) are in the Women of Impact book, co-published by UC Santa Barbara.

The initiative became an event that brought together 200+ people from 4 continents, and an academic program. That was back in 2019, and today, the is still being purchased on https://lnkd.in/ew7gBVZ4 and physical softcopy on Blurb https://lnkd.in/eEnFKupM — something I am both grateful for and proud of.

Since then, other Women of Impact projects (literally called Women of Impact by ELLE Magazine, National Geographic, and Apple Podcast) have followed, but this was the one that started it all! 😝
