The WoI museum exhibition<\/b> ran from July 14 – September 3, 2018 at the Art, Design & Architecture (AD&A) Museum.The exhibition showcased three 6\u2019x4\u2019 canvasses including a mosaic created by students as part of a course-credit program.<\/p>\n

More than 200 people attended the launch and WoI presentation<\/b> on July 19, 2018. Framed against the often volatile social and political backdrop of our species’ long history of migration, the \u201cHuman Mind and Migration\u201d program will explore the neurobiological roots of human beings as they confront others who may be perceived as different and as they define the boundaries of their groups. The topic is intertwined with human social behavior and the very broad range over which sociality operates in humans as a contributor to our success or failure as a species.<\/p>\n

We will continue to explore societal challenges through partnerships with impactmania\u2019s<\/em> education partners around neuroscience, technology, and humanity. Impact X<\/em><\/strong> profiled 30 impact makers from an oceanographer, a nine-time Grammy Award winner, to a U.S. Presidential Award winner for her work in STEM. As we work together, especially across sectors, we can address highly complex social issues.
