We Launched an Accredited University Program!

impactmania’s quarterly newsletter is out!

Dear Friends,

Thanksgiving is here! We’d like to say THANK YOU for your continuous support.

Our project started out uncovering impact makers and has become a purveyor of ideas that affect our cultural lens, addressing societal issues with thought leaders rethinking our economy.

impactmania’s original content has been cited by institutions such as Harvard Business School, USC, and the U.S. Consulate. One of our video stories was featured at the United Nations Global Compact Conference 2017. A Brazilian university has developed an impactmania accredited course. Read more below.

Your support has allowed us to make this happen in 21 months! Our deepest appreciation.

We are thrilled to be collaborating with Newton Paiva University in Brazil! The partnership will expose ideas and tools that help grow the social enterprise community, provide examples of companies that work with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and educate students on models that tackle cultural, economic, environmental, and social issues. The objective is to drive cross-sector, global collaboration allowing innovators to advocate for their communities while inspiring the next generation to become impact makers.

impactmania attended the UN and EU’s official launch of the Spotlight Initiative to eliminate gender violence.

UN Secretary General António Guterres opened the High Level event. Malala, youngest Nobel Peace Prize recipient, and her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, were speaking about the importance of education to help counter gender violence.

Apart from hearing Malala speak, we interviewed three Women of Impact from Pakistan. See below for two of the interviews.
