impactmania launches at UC Santa Barbara

impactmania launched at UC Santa Barbara with Laurie Ashton, Nobel Peace Prize 2016 nominee (part of the Marshall Island’s team) –  Helene Schneider, Mayor of Santa Barbara, California – and Paksy Plackis-Cheng, founder and CEO of impactmania.

The online magazine is building on the book Impact X by Paksy Plackis-Cheng. Paksy Plackis-Cheng is the former President of the Board of the Santa Barbara Symphony and Business Star (named by Computer Partner, an IDG publication) managed marketing and business development for two software companies in 11 countries.

The book launched earlier the year at the New Vic Theatre in Santa Barbara, California with four panel speakers was well received by close to 300 attendees. impactmania will continue featuring thinkers and doers in 12 cities across 5 continents in 2016.  In 2017, the online platform will move to discussing specific themes. It covers a publication, network, and platform for (social) entrepreneurs and investors alike who can witness impact makers who make a social, cultural, and economic difference in their own backyard, sometimes even on the world stage.

The magazine does not take advertising or believe in sponsored articles. Support an independent voice by sponsoring the platform as a whole. For more information contact the team at impactmania: [email protected]
